ABOUT ME

After completing my MA in Media Practice for Development & Social Change program at the University of Sussex, I joined the team at English for Action London. There, I work primarily on fundraising, finance, project development, and communications for the charity, as well as serving on the Executive Team. Previously, I earned degrees in Journalism from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication and in French Language and Literature from Arizona State University’s School of International Letters and Cultures.

After my undergraduate studies and before my time at Sussex, I spent two years in France and two years in Spain, teaching English as a Second Language in secondary schools. During this time, I applied my communications and marketing skills to freelance work, focusing specifically on small businesses and nonprofit communications.

I speak English, French and Spanish fluently, and I am also currently studying Arabic. In my spare time, you'll usually find me on a countryside walk, camera in hand, or else sowing a new crop of veg in a local community garden.
